The gas differential pressure sensor WNK1108 is a new product successfully launched by WNK Electronics. The response speed of the WNK1108 has been optimized to meet the requirements of medical ventilators.
The achievable measurement range of WNK1108 is as follows:
• -5 to 125 Pa (0.5 inch H2O)
• -20 to 500 Pa (2 inch H2O)
• -100 to 3500 Pa (14 inch H2O)
• -500 to 500 Pa (+/-2 inch H2O)
• -62 to 62 Pa (+/-0.25 inch H2O)

The WNK1108 housing is durable and made of chemically resistant PPS; wide range ratio, zero drift, excellent long-term stability,high quality and low price, it is the first choice for HVAC and medical equipment OEMs. ADP1108 is fully compliant with RoHS and REACH standards.
 

 

 

The WNK1108 is powered by 5.0V and provides I2C and 0.25 to 4V signal output. Although it is an analog output, the internal linearization and temperature compensation are all digitalized, so the accuracy and resolution are high (up to 0.05Pa), and the temperature is minimally affected.
Its leading performance is based on WNK Electronics' patented technology, which integrates the sensing element and signal amplification and A/D conversion on the same PCB. The differential pressure is measured by the thermal sensing element. Compared with other thermal differential pressure sensors, the amount of air required is very little, so even in harsh environments, the operation is also safe and reliable. Compared with the diaphragm sensor, the WNK1108 has a wider range ratio, more stable performance, and excellent repeatability in the low differential pressure section (see Figure 1 and Figure 2). In addition, the WNK1108 can withstand large momentary pressures and is insensitive to installation direction and vibration..

Temperature compensation

The WNK1108 differential pressure sensor has a precision built-in temperature compensation circuit. Through the on-chip
temperature sensor, the temperature on the chip is measured, and the data is fed back to the MCU, eliminating the need for external temperature compensation.

The WNK1108 differential pressure sensor uses dynamic measurement principles to give it unparalleled performance. The measured differential pressure only needs a small amount of airflow through the sensor. The indicated differential pressure is therefore affected by the surrounding air density. The temperature effect on the density is compensated by   internal intelligence ). According to the following formula, the correction factor is used to compensate for the change in ambient pressure due to the effect of density, and there is a representative level change.
